Network Marketing Training For Prospecting

Friday, November 28th, 2008

When I first got started in network marketing, I was told to buy generic prospects from prospect vendors and start cold calling them weekly. This is what my upline told me when it came to my network marketing training with my team. After a year or so I became very good at it. In Fact I recruited over 150 people into my team. However what I found was that buying prospects and cold calling was not as duplicable as my upline prospect it to be. However I also noticed that all the people that I recruited from cold calling prospect list were not duplicating as well.

While doing my network marketing training one day I decided to take responsibility for my own network marketing network marketing training and network marketing prospect generation. I started researching top income earners, who build there network marketing business on the Internet without buying prospects and cold calling them. That’s right. You can build your business using the Internet. I know what you might be saying, “I was told you can’t do that; it’ll never work.” Right, well I was told the same thing. I’m here to tell you these top income dogs are doing it and now, and I’m doing it too. You need to know that can explode your network marketing business just using the Internet

When you started your network marketing training in your company, did anyone actually teach any types of marketing skills. I bet your saying, “no way.” Notice I said “marketing skills”, and not recruiting skills, prospecting skills, etc. Normally, we all get the standard training, which includes the following classic methods: make a list of people you know, 3-foot rule, etc. Well, again me to. You see what I learned was to be really successful in your business that you will have to put the (marketing) back into network marketing. When I found this out a light bulb when off in my head. I always new that something was missing and that I needed to find out what it was. So I did more research and found out more about what the top dogs were doing and how all this marketing stuff was done. I read books on Internet marketing, prospect generation, using tracking, email follow up, autoresponders and a whole lot more.

In my network marketing training the best skill I learned was the secret of having people call my home wanting to join me in my business. Would that be great if that could happen to you? Now I was being contacted; people wanted to talk to me. This was just the opposite of all the standard, age-old training that we usually get in this industry.

However, all this didn’t happen until I learned the skill of doing my own network marketing prospect generation. When I finally learned all these powerful “marketing” skills my business started to become really fun. I know use a system that generates targeted prospects for me, and what makes this even more lucrative, they are not generic tire kickers – they are targeted prospects interested in exactly what I have to offer.

I make money even if they don’t join me in my primary business. My prospects pay me for my advertising so I can generate traffic and even more prospects.

You can have the same success. Don’t let your upline tell you anything different. What works for one person or couple may not work for someone else. However, when technology like the Internet is involved, that’s a lot more duplicatable than say, a 3-foot rule. If this is something that you would like to learn to do, drop by my blog and sign up for my free report on using the Internet for exploding your downline.

The Reason Why What your Upline Teaches you Doesn’t Work in your Network Marketing Company

Daniel Tolmie asked:

Frustrated with your ridiculously unsuccessful and money-draining network marketing business that is going nowhere fast??? Despite the fact that your hugely successful upline told you that all you need to do is get two, who get two, who get two etc, and then you’ll be RICH beyond your WILDEST DREAMS?!?!?! For the millionth time you ask yourself the question, ‘WHY DOESN’T THIS WORK?’

Well, let me tell you why.

Let’s wind the clock back about 50 or 60 years. Swing dancing, World Wars, bowler hats, flouncy dresses, and when a neighbour was a friend.

You got up in the morning and bid a cheery hullo to your neighbours nextdoor AND across the road, went to work while your wife visited her friend four doors down to discuss that new chocolate chip biscuit recipe. You wave to everyone you see on your street because you know them by name, in fact, you know everyone within a 500 ft radius of your home!! That night one of your friends pitches you on this new fantastic idea of a business, network marketing, that just involves you talking to your friends about this amazing product. You fall in love with the product, go and tell everyone you know about it, and because

you are their friend, they’ve never heard anything like this before, and they trust you, they listen. Some of them fall in love with it just like you and the word spreads easily and far. Well, why shouldn’t it? Everyone knows everyone.

Okay, wipe that dreamy smile off your face and let’s come back to reality. Those days are GONE! They are NOT coming back. A gigantic bubble just burst above your head and you are not smiling anymore, but wakeup calls never are nice, are they?

What’s it like now? Well, you could tell me, most people might know their neighbours name, but have no idea about anything else. It’s true for me, haven’t spoken to my neighbours in 3 weeks. I’m a very sociable person, but our societies operate differently now. People have marketing thrown at them all day and every day, from billboards on the streets and buildings, to high-powered radio and TV ads. It’s all thrown out there saying ‘LOOK AT ME! LOOK AT ME! BUY ME!’

People are more skeptical nowadays, they’re used to discarding marketing ploys all day, every day. Most likely they’ve had 5 friends ask them at some point in their lives to join a network marketing company to get rich easily, and they have tried and failed. Just get two, who get two, who get two, and so on, until you have so much money you could buy a small country.

The only thing that is certain in this life, (apart from taxes) is change. You cannot stop it, and you ignore it at your peril. So if it worked 50 years ago, but nowadays 97% of people fail, what does that tell you?

A very smart man once said, “The definition of stupidity is doing the same thing over and over again, and expecting a different result.”

And that, my friend, is the ultra-abbreviated history of network marketing and why making a list of everyone you know and pitching them on your golden, once-in-a-lifetime opportunity does … not … work.

But don’t get me wrong, network marketing is probably the fairest business model of them all. But only if it is approached the proper way, times have changed yes, but now you can call anywhere in the world for a $20 a month, the internet enables to you connect with 1000s, no 100,000s of people in an instant. It is not all doom and gloom for network marketing, you just have to learn what works and do that … then go buy your small country.

How to Become a Successful Network Marketer?- Discover What to Look for in MLM Training Programs

Friday, November 14th, 2008

Ellen Agius asked:

If you are a network marketer, you may be asking yourself - What do I look for when searching for a home business training program to blow the socks off my competition?

What absolutely amazes me is that many people buy a MLM home business with the idea of becoming rich and successful without knowing anything about the industry. Therefore it makes sense that if you want to be a successful network marketer you would need to be taught how to do it? Does a person decide to be a doctor and just do it, no they receive 6 years of medical training, does a number one tennis player decide to be successful, no they need lots of coaching and training.

So it seems that to be successful in your chosen field you require some sort of coaching and training. However many network marketers actually lack any marketing training and common techniques like making a list of your warm market, the 3-foot rule, etc flat out don’t work for most people. This would explain the documented over 90% failure rate in this industry.

The majority of people get involved with network marketing companies because they’re told how easy it is to accumulate huge wealth from home in their pajamas. I’ll be the first to tell anyone that growing a business from home is far from easy, but it is simple with the right training and applying proper marketing principles.

So the goal is to find the right training program to be truly successful. There is lots of training offered for network marketers including personal coaching, self-development courses, conference calls, mentoring etc. But to truly master the art and science of network marketing ongoing support and education is necessary.

So what do you look for in a home business training program?-

· A training program that is provided by expert, successful network marketers . Surrounding yourself with others who have become that which you chose to be, is the key.

· A training program that teaches techniques that are tested and proven to work

· A program that provides a live training environment so you are open to ask questions

· A program that provides a mastermind group. Napoleon Hill interviewed 500 of the “richest” people in the world when he wrote, “Think and Grow Rich”. All 500 had ONE thing in common: Every one of them worked with a “Mastermind” group. Participating in a mastermind group has proven to be an integral part of my success in MLM.

· A training program that you can attend without leaving your home

· A training program that provides a money back guarantee if not successful

· A training program that provides prospecting and closing scripts for you to use and adapt

· A training program that provides ongoing support to guide you step by step.

· A training program that covers the major topics of prospecting and closing and how to master all forms of communication, the telephone, the written word, the internet

· A training program that continues once you have paid to join, so you can continue to learn. So once the training cycle is completed you can continue to have access to every training cycle. Lets face it if you pay good money for training you want it to last, not just a 2 day, 2week or even 12 month course and your finished and on your own.

A successful training program which provides all of these aspects is limited to only a select few. How to Close Network Marketing Prospects in 90 Seconds or Less

Michael Hutchins asked:

Network marketing prospects just Love “sitting on the fence.” In fact, many people fail in network marketing because they cannot move people “off the fence.” This article will reveal an insider’s secret to closing prospects quickly, and anyone can do it.

First and foremost let me make it clear that you cannot close a prospect who is not “sold” on your opportunity. I know that sounds obvious, but it is amazing how many people will try and close a prospect before establishing that the prospect even wants to get involved with the program.

Very bad!

Nope, closing is not the whole selling process. It is just the final move to action. So as I explain this closing sequence, I am making the assumption that the prospect has “bought” in to the opportunity. They just need to be prompted to take action. The closing sequence consists of 3 questions. The questions must be asked in the order they are listed:

Question #1- “Mr/ms prospect, what is it about the opportunity that appeals to you the most?”

The answer to this question allows the prospect to clarify the benefits of the opportunity in their mind. The prospect is “selling” themselves with their answer!

Question#2- “mr/ms prospect, the timing seems perfect for you to get started, why is now a good time for you to get involved?” The prospect’s answer to this question reinforces the need for immediate action. By the way, these questions should always be asked in a conversational manner. The prospect should never feel pressured if you ask the questions with the proper tone.

Tone is VERY important.

Question#3- “mr/ms prospect, I would like to go ahead and schedule your 1st training session. Would a week day, or the weekend be better?” The prospect’s answer to this question essentially closes the sale. After the training date is established, you would simply start filling out the distributor agreement.

It is very important to role play these questions so that your delivery seems confident and relaxed. Remeber, prospects must be clear on how your program will benefit them before they will take action. These 3 powerful questions are designed to do just that!

5 Problems Facing Network Marketers & How to Solve Them

Friday, November 14th, 2008

Kevin Wallace asked:

en around the network marketing industry for 10 years, I have been able to identify 5 main areas that can be roadblocks for many people in the industry. Those challenges are as follows:

1- Leads. The biggest problem that people face in the industry is generating leads. Finding new people on a consistent basis that you can expose your business to is crucial. Most people do not expose their business to enough quality people on a daily basis to get the results that they need.

2-Follow up is the next problem area. When the home business owner does expose his/her business to people, they do not always follow up effectively. They either do not follow up at all, or they don’t follow up consistently enough to get results.

3- Duplication and training. Once the networker begins to enroll people into his/her business, the next problem that comes is getting their new partners trained effectively in order to duplicate what they have done and what others have done to be successful.

4- Marketing tools. Everyone needs effective marketing tools to help them leverage their time by doing presentations for them. In this day and age, a web presence is essential. You need to have cutting edge online marketing tools at your disposal. The company that you represent usually provides a website or websites, but they are typically very ineffective marketing tools.

5- The final problem facing network marketers is credibility. Most don’t have any. Especially if you are new and haven’t earned any money yet. Most people end up chasing their prospects to try to get them to look at their business, when you really need to have posture and have prospects, interested prospects, chasing you.

So when building an MLM business, how do you solve the challenges listed above? When it comes to lead generation, there are a plethora of ideas and information out there on ways to generate leads. There’s your warm market, referrals, buying leads, the 3 foot rule, advertising in periodicals and newspapers, drop cards, cold calling, and various online methods.

In order to have the success you want, you need to incorporate more than one of the available methods of prospecting. But it is imperative you have a system that can automatically help you generate free qulaity leads. Marketing is the key here. For years, this industry has not been about true marketing. The old methods of prospecting your warm market, referral marketing and approaching strangers, do actually still work, but not like they used to and not for the majority of people. So you need to have cutting edge tools at your disposal to be able to market in 21st Century MLM.

You must also be able to follow up effectively with all the leads that you will be generating, so the best way to do that the most efficiently is with an autoresponder. You need to have a series of emails that will follow up automatically for you endlessly until the prospect joins you or opts out.

Once prospects join your business, you have to have an effective way to train them and get them to duplicate the success of others. If you have to be the one to train all of the new people you are signing up into your business, then you have less time to prospect. So it’s important to have a system of training to plug people into to teach them the basics and enable them to be able to do the same thing for their new team members. This is how you can automate the training process to get the duplication you need. The information needs to be the same for everyone, so they are getting a full dose of the right information and not a watered down version.

Finally, in order to attract prospects and get them to chase you and want to join your business, you need to be perceived as an expert. You do this by providing valuable information to help and educate others without asking for anything in return. The prospects will see you as a giver, a person of knowledge and expertise, a leader, and they will want to work and associate with you.

The key solution to all of these problems is to have a system that comprises all of these components together to assist you to build your business. It should allow you to leverage your time, while you concentrate on the most importing thing in building your businessmarketing!

Network Marketing- the Top 5 Mistakes That Newbies Make

Thursday, November 13th, 2008

Michael Hutchins asked:

When a person first gets involved with mlm, they are bombarded with all kinds of information on how to be successful. Most of the tips involve strategies for success. Unfortunately, much of the information is “putting the cart in front of the horse”. Many of the mistakes network marketers make are made before they join a company. This article will reveal the 5 most common mistakes.

Without a doubt, the #1 mistake made by new network marketers is choosing the wrong sponsor. Often times, new distributors have no idea what attributes a quality sponsor should have. Before signing on with ANY sponsor, new people should screen many different sponsor candidates. If possible, talk to some of the new distributors in the downlines of some of these sponsors. Prepare a list of questions, which may help reveal the distributor’s experience with the potential sponsor and the mlm company.

Mistake#2- Failing to read the terms and conditions of your selected company. If the terms and conditions are as long as “War And Peace”, be very concerned. They were probably written by smart attorneys that have the company’s interests in mind, and not your interests!

Mistake#3- Joining a company that features leadership that is inexperienced in network marketing. This can be “the kiss of death” for the future of an mlm company. If the people running the business, have no experience in the “trenches”, it will be almost impossible for them to make decisions that are sensitive to the needs of distributors in the field. In these situations, policies are based purely on “numbers”, not on human factors. Numbers do not make successful businesses, people do!

Mistake#4- Joining an mlm company that only offers one product. This is particularly risky if the company has no concrete plans for adding additional products. The network marketing industry is far too competitive for a company to rely on one product. Customers have a tendency to switch to the “latest and greatest” thing . Make sure the product that your company offers is consumable, and in need of replacement on a scheduled basis.

Mistake#5- This mistake is huge! Never join a company that relies on “old-school” marketing methods. These include making a “names” list, setting up parties and meetings, calling purchased mlm leads, etc. etc. The strategies are highly ineffective, and have much to do with the large attrition rate in network marketing. Attraction marketing has taken the mlm world by storm, as this form of marketing tends to “attract” prospects to a distributor. Why Network Marketing For A Work From Home Business Opportunity?

Koz Huseyin asked:

Network Marketing is a subject that always gets me excited. And rightly so, with so many benefits we can get as part of MLM Marketing opportunities. However, people often say why Network Marketing? There are many reasons why Multilevel Marketing is a great opportunity, whatever happens, whether you succeed in the business model or not.

Network Marketing is a business model which was born about the 1950’s. And since it started being called MLM and later changing to be called Network Marketing has been a fountain of wealth for many people. In fact, more millionaires have been created in the US than any other model of business. This is an amazing fact, and a fact which when we consider if someone else has achieved success, then you can succeed in Network MLM Marketing as well is simply amazing.

Consider the win - win of this model. Whether you succeed in MLM or not. Network Marketing gives many people an easy accessible way to start a home business. This makes Network Marketing a great home business opportunity to consider, as the needed investment to get started is usually same as going to a restaurant or a concert. Whatever your level of knowledge about business, Network Marketing gives you the ability to learn the possibilities of what is possible and also teaching you the necessary skills on running a business. This alone makes the multilevel marketing home business opportunities a win - win situation.

Network Marketing home business opportunities are also a great way to network and gain people skills. It is not like going into education where the payoff is later, though generally the huge payoff in this type of work from home business comes, when you master the networking and marketing aspects, and the necessary parts to make your home business a success. With MLM Network Marketing you will find that your results are your scorecard. More you study and apply, more you will succeed.

Many people shun away from the extra learning necessary as part of Network Marketing, and this makes these types of businesses to get a bad name on occasion. Most people simply want to join and expect the membership to be the only way to make their dreams possible. Understand that Multi Level Marketing principles are easy, however, success is not so easy, it takes time and commitment, and this is where many will fail.

Success in Network Marketing is pretty much learning your strengths and weaknesses, being creative and utilizing a system that is proven to work. Most people don’t realize that if someone has achieved the goals you would like to achieve in your multilevel marketing home business opportunity, then it is fully possible that you can with the same Network Marketing training material.

I was recently researching the average salary range for people in Network Marketing and found that the average was $120,000. Now that is a good figure and one which many would not achieve if they where working for someone else. The MLM model also allows a framework where you can be free to do what you want to do. You could set up another business when you become successful at Network Marketing. Being part of a home business opportunity gives you access to some real gems. These people you can help and turn them from uncut diamonds to diamonds. If you are not a cut diamond yet, then you can gain the help of your up-line.

Your up-line is your coach, motivator, and helper in times of need. They have been in the opportunity a lot longer then you, and know what works. Your up-line can really help you keep in check, with realistic and ever growing goals, and also make sure you are taking action.

More and more people are joining Network Marketing opportunities as they prove an easy route into business. In the Asian markets and countries where income is low, the Network Marketing model of business is helping many achieve a kind of success which most others could not dream of. The doorway of Network Marketing is one that can work for you, as long as you find one that you find you feel passionate or at least excited about the product or service.

Five Reasons Why Ninety Percent of Network Marketers Fail

Thursday, November 13th, 2008
network marketing training
Ouida Vincent asked:

Nine out of 10 people who fill out a network marketing application will fail to build a viable business. Among that number will be people who do not take action and people who build a business yet experience a true business collapse.

The oft-quoted statistic allegedly from the Small Business Administration(SBA) that 9 out of 10 of all businesses fail within 10 years by comparison is not true.

According Brian Headd?s article from Small Business Economics 21:51-61, 2003: Redefining Business Success: Distinguishing between Closure and Failure, 66% of conventional businesses survive 2 years or more, 50% survive four years or more and 40% survive six years or more. Traditional small businesses do far better than the 90% failure rate quoted by people in the network marketing industry.

What is the difference? Is the network marketing model itself faulty? Many familiar sales models use the same business model as network marketing. Real estate sales are a prime example. Many top sales people across the automotive, pharmaceutical, travel and other industries have as their main responsibility to recruit and train sales people and in return are paid commissions based on the performance of their teams. It is not the model.

What is it then? Why do so many people fail in network marketing?

Working with people over the past 5 years and in speaking with other successful network marketers during the same time, I have been able to come up with 5 reasons:

1) The cost of entry is too low: The typical start up costs can range from 0 to $1500 dollars. Imagine the person who decides to open a traditional business and has to invest tens of thousands of dollars to do so. How might that person differ from the person who can put their business start up on a credit card? The person seeking to open a conventional business where the investment is high will develop a business plan. That plan will include a skills assessment, expected expenditures and projected revenues. If the prospective business owner realizes they have a skill deficit that is material to their business success, they will either set to work learning that skill before opening their business or they will provide funding and a plan to acquire that skill while they are in the planning stages and before they open for business. Now imagine the person who can simply put their start up costs on their credit card. For the majority of network marketers there is no planning beyond the initial start up. Most never ask of their sponsors or themselves what they may need to be successful other than the initial start op costs. They never ask what skills they lack. There are on-going business costs in addition to the start up costs and those costs can range from $100 to $500 dollars per month. Many do not make provision for on-going expenses. On-going business expenses tend to be regarded as expenses akin to the cable bill rather than investments in their business. The low start up, then, can be a stumbling block to success in business.

2) Lack of appropriate training: Unfortunately many companies and teams do not offer training beyond corporate events. In order to be successful network marketers must master a simple formula, the Inviting Formula, and they must use that formula 30 to 60 times per month. Without this formula many new and seasoned network marketers will invite the wrong prospects to review their information and find themselves disappointed by the results. The Inviting Formula is simple to learn and implement. Why is there so little training available in network marketing? I believe the reason can be found in the very reasons why people get started in network marketing. Take the wage earner who wants to fire his boss. He never wants anyone to tell him what to do again; he hates his boss and wants to be free. Take the corporate executive and the entrepreneur both of whom are tired of managing people and are looking to build a fleet of independent business owners that they never have to manage. Put both groups of people together in what is fundamentally a people business and what do you get? People who find that they have to do what they were trying to get away from in order to be successful and become free! YIKES!

3) Too many people are looking for the big income score and fail to appreciate the smaller sums of income they earn along the way. Most people get started in network marketing because of the big income claims. They want the six figures. If they don?t get ?em they quit. Here is a statistic that will knock your socks off. Anyone grossing $30,000 per year or more with their respective company is among the top 3% of income earners for their company. Here is another fact. The income earned through network marketing is tax-advantaged income. Income earned through a job is not. Anyone earning an additional $30,000 dollars per year in tax-advantaged income who fails to make significant strides in improving their wealth will never improve their wealth with $100,000 per year. Finally, the road to earning and keeping six figures and beyond is a 5 to 10 year process and there is no way around it. It is a process that requires growth and change in the areas of personal finance, emotional maturity, spiritual maturity, and personal association.

4) Low EQ, failed expectations, too much hype in the industry: Looks like I jumbled 3 different ideas into one point but they are actually all related. There is a lot of hype in the industry. Joe Smith the waiter to went from 0 to six figures in a year. Of course Joe Smith and his company forgot to mention that all of Joe?s family were involved in the industry of network marketing, that all were successful, and that Joe was working as a waiter just to figure out what his options were. That skills are required is just one of the ?inconvenient truths? of network marketing. The hype leads invariably to failed expectations. If people understand at the start that network marketing is really a business that requires a skill set fewer people would get started and more people would be successful. The organizations created would move from vertical sales organizations to consumer-based organizations as more people seek to become product users rather than business owners. Network marketing itself is an industry that attracts too many people who desire instant gratification. Daniel Goldman described the Emotional Quotient or EQ in his book Emotional Intelligence. He found that the greatest determinant of long term success was one?s ability to delay gratification.

5) Money In, Money Out: Many people treat Network Marketing as a Money in, Money out proposition. Imagine a black box. On one side of the box is the word ?IN? in bold letters. On the other side is the word ?OUT? in bold letters. It would be easy to think that just because you put money in, you should get money out. Investments rarely work out that way. See the trouble is that ?black box?. Something goes on in that black box that transforms inputs into outputs and therein lies the rub. As an illustration, I was on the phone with a prospect the other day. He said, ?I have been scammed so many times, what I need is a person who will work with me, show me the ropes, train me?are you that person?? My response was, ?yes, we have a training program that begins with our training manual. We have weekly calls and I will be meeting with you a couple of times per week and giving you assignments each time we meet. You won?t progress unless you do the assignments and attend the training calls?are you that person?? Stone cold silence. He never did answer my question. With my first company, I received motivational materials at a cost of $60 dollars per month but no training. In my second program there was training galore that I didn?t take advantage of. I thought my team?s system would build my business for me. When I realized that it wouldn?t, I had a choice, quit or continue. In order to continue I had to ask myself some questions, among them, What skill or skills do I lack? There are 2 skills required in network marketing A) the skill of inviting which has embedded in it the stills of listening, sorting and sifting and B) The skill of training which requires the skills of boundary setting and the skill of setting expectations. I lacked the skill of inviting. I learned my profession through experimentation, direct observation and practicing. I applied those same strategies to learning the skill of inviting and I went from sporadic checks to consistently earning multiple 4 figures per month.

Network Marketing - Rejection and How to Kiss it Goodbye Forever With Attraction Marketing!

Robert Cummings asked:

Attraction marketing is the way to get your network marketing business the ear of the very people you want to hear you (and want to hear you) In two words, qualified prospects.

A question I hear a lot of is some variation of: “How can I learn about attraction marketing? ” or “Where do I begin with attraction marketing?”.

Leads are the be-all and end-all of network marketing, or more accurately, qualified leads are the be-all and end-all of network marketing. To make advances in today’s market, you’ll need to be able to forget some of what you’ve learned about network marketing and use online attraction marketing methods.

What’s working with the older methods of lead sourcing? Nothing, when it works - but the truth is, it’s hit and miss. It’s like a shotgun blast versus a single bullet. One is far more targeted than the other. The biggest reason for the rapid turnover in the network marketing industry is that nearly 90% of new marketers give it up within three months.

Why?

Rejection. Casting too wide of a net means you will hear a lot more “no” than “yes”. With a high rejection rate and low revenues, it’s easy to see why so many call it quits early in the game.

Untargeted marketing, especially when you’re trying to get people involved in a business comes off as desperate and will likely damage rather than help your business.

Only someone who, in former times have been a door-to-door salesperson has the temperament for that level of rejection on a daily basis. Most of us are simply not cut out for that.

That’s why most quit, telling any who will listen that network marketing is at best, ineffective and at worst, a scam. This does nothing for the image of the industry.

As many will tell you though, network marketing does indeed work, it is simply a matter of getting yourself in front of a receptive audience. But, you may ask, how is this done?

First of all, toss those old hit or miss lists, stop buying leads and stop the expensive telemarketing.

Your business will be much better served by having a website.

Make a blog, a Squidoo lens, anything which can help you build a brand.

If you have absolutely no idea where to turn in building your network marketing business online? Find someone that has developed a system using these unique marketing techniques, which can give you the training you need to take your network marketing business to the web.

So why the article? I’m trying to help. You have resources to build your own success in network marketing using the principles of attraction marketing. All you have to do is use these resources and you can watch your network marketing business grow.

Wil Chirinos asked:

Now that you’ve signed on the dotted line to start an MLM Business, how does really it work?

You signed an independent distributorship contract that says you’re licensed to market the company’s products or services and you’re also licensed to build a distribution channel of marketers to bring those products or services to the consumer market place.

This contract explicitly says that you’re not an employee to the company. You don’t derive a salary, benefits, or any other compensation other than what you are entitled to as more products or services are sold. Your compensation is directly proportionately to your ability to move products/services on behalf of your provider MLM company.

The problem is that most of us are trained to think in terms of “being employees” as opposed to thinking as “business owners”. MLM companies understand that it is easier to train people to be employees than entrepreneurs because that’s what we’re taught to become in our early years of adulthood. So most people still continue to have an employee mindset even though they are now full fledge independent MLM business owners.

There is a mindset that you as a network marketer distributor needs to have if you are to become a successful start up MLM home business owner.

You must treat your mlm business as your own enterprise or company separate from your provider MLM company.

When you signed those papers from your company, you became an Independent Representative. You’ve been asked to conduct your business in a manner that is in alignment with the company’s policy. While the company implements these policies, at the same time, it treats you as if you were an employee. Meaning, that the training, tools, and techniques to promote company’s products and/or services are made available to YOU to guarantee the success of the company’s business first and foremost and not necessarily your own success.

Regardless of where you are in your business: just started or have a large organization; this mindset should carry you and help you avoid the traps and save you money. Most importantly use this mindset to guide yourself as you run your business. Ask yourself, if I spend this money what is my return on my investment? Don’t allow yourself be moved by the hype and the emotions. Don’t let an upline leader entice you to spend your money if the rationale behind his/her line of thinking is not there.

I am not saying that you should not bet for the company’s success, on the contrary you should. What I am saying is that you should treat your network marketing business as your own company, just the same way as your provider company treats its business.

Your actions should be guided by this principle. Ask yourself. If my provider ever goes out of business, would I still be in business or would I be out of business, too? If you run your business as your own, you should be able to use another provider’s services or products without any interruptions to your customers. You should always thrive for that. This is the concept of independence, become the CEO of your own distribution company.

When you realize this concept, you can begin to see holes in many techniques used in network marketing. They’re just not designed to benefit your distribution channel company. However, they are designed to benefit your provider company or your upline leaders.

Take a look at marketing to your friends and family for instance. How can you build a business when you are taught to market to a handful of consumers who by the way might or might not have any interests in your products or services? What happens after you run out of your warm market, what then? Do you see the hole in that thought?

In conclusion, as a business owner you should work your business like any other business even a network marketing business, guide your actions as a CEO of your own distribution company, so that your own company benefits the most.
